The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds:
51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of continuing the shutdown, including 31% who Strongly Approve. 41% disapprove, including 29% who Strongly Disapprove of letting the shutdown continue.
For the past three weeks, Democrats in the Senate have repeatedly voted to maintain a filibuster to continue the government shutdown until their demands are met.
