A Warrior Story: Isaac Blunt & the Warrior Foundation. Donate Now!

“There are other guys here, other vets, other military personnel...they bring in camaraderie...bringing us together.”

--retired Marine Corps Lance Corporal Isaac Blunt, on his experience with Warrior Foundation Freedom Station.

Isaac is a member of the Wolf Pack Basketball club

For those who are unfamiliar with the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, we’ll sum it up: at the point at which our injured military men and women are at the highest risk (facing homelessness, joblessness and potentially suicide) Warrior Foundation Freedom Station steps-in to provide care, rehab programs and transitional housing. They help these brave members of our military make the transition to happy, productive civilian lives.

It's a beautiful, beautiful thing--and we need your support.

One of the warriors who’s benefited from his time with WFFS is Isaac Blunt. In 2011, while deployed in Afghanistan as part of the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Isaac stepped on an i.e.d. during a foot patrol--resulting in the loss of both of his legs, his left eye, several fingers on his left hand.

We've met Isaac--and he’s a great dude.

With the help of Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, he's climbing back to regular, civilian life.
